Typhoon Umbrellas are stylish yet also extremely robust due to their reinforced struts on the arms and their fixed canopies. The Typhoon can be both a portable and permanent umbrella that is able to withstand extreme wind speeds of up to 148kph. Available in a range of shapes and sizes, this model is perfect for coastal, wind prone and exposed environments. The fixed canopy design of the Typhoon is robust, the umbrella furthermore corrosion, UV and water-resistant, sheltering you and your guests effectively even in the harshest conditions.

Skyspan Umbrella canopies are made from Serge Ferrari’s Soltis Proof 502 coloured PVC. A highly resistant membrane available in 40 different colours. With a PVDF surface treatment, this canopy is highly dirt resistant. Can't find the answer you're looking for?
Yes, they feature the highest wind ratings of any umbrellas in our range - up to 148km/h (W41). Think of them more like permanent structures than umbrellas.
Due to the high wind rating, these umbrellas require substantial footings. Some models also require partial assembly on site. We can help with the installation in Metropolitan Melbourne or we will provide detailed work method statements for your own trade-person to follow.
