The Making of an Instant Shade Umbrella

Come with us behind the scenes to see what is involved with producing a branded commercial umbrella. Once the initial phone call is made, we work closely with our clients to ensure the design matches their brand or idea perfectly.

The design is sent to our manufacturers in China, who turn this into reality. The branded commercial umbrella is cut, printed, sown, tested and then packaged and air freighted to us.

The excitement starts to build, whilst the umbrella is on it’s way. Once it arrive we dress the umbrella and ensure it is perfect for our client.

The umbrella is then either personally delivered, or freighted around Australia to our many varied clients, ready to create a dramatic visual impact.

Clients choose to have branded commercial umbrella for a variety of reasons, though one thing is always a certainty – a branded commercial umbrella is a fabulous way to create brand awareness, makes a statement and compliments a business beautifully.

What Are The Different Types Of Outdoor Umbrellas?

How Do I Choose The Right Size Of Outdoor Umbrella For My Space?

To determine the appropriate size for your outdoor umbrella, measure the length and width of the area you want to cover. Consider the shape and dimensions of the umbrella and make sure measurements of the umbrella don’t exceed the measurements of your area. Always try and select the biggest umbrella that will fit in your space – you won’t regret having extra shade!

Are Outdoor Umbrellas Waterproof?

While good quality outdoor umbrellas are typically made from water-repellant canvas, they may not be entirely waterproof. However remember that your outdoor umbrella is not a permanent structure, and if the rain was so torrential as to leak through the umbrella canvas you would not usually be sitting under it anyway. For 100% waterproof solutions, consider a permanent structural umbrella.

How Do I Maintain And Clean My Outdoor Umbrella?

Regularly clean the fabric canopy with mild soap and water to remove dirt and stains – use a medium-bristle brush to assist with this. Make sure to remove stubborn stains like bird droppings and tree sap promptly and do not allow it to penetrate the fabric. Keep the frame and moving parts clean and free of cobwebs and dirt. Use a protective cover to prolong the life of the canopy and frame and store the umbrella in a dry, protected area during the winter months if possible.
